[MV] Overdose - EXO

After a long time of waiting, EXO is officially back with its new Music Video 'Overdose'. After an extended waiting period, KPOP fans are getting overdosed on EXO.

After the phenomenal MV 'Wolf', 'Growl' and 'Miracle in December', a new MV was released and everyone getting overdosed with it. The MV 'Overdosed' is the title track of their 2nd Mini album 'Overdose.'



SM Entertainment stated, "'Overdose' is a dance track with an urban feel rooted in hip hop and R&B. It is the collaborative work of The Underdogs, who worked with Beyonce, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, and other famous pop stars, and famous composer Kenzie who is responsible for many hit tracks."



The song is an urban dance track with a catchy lyrics. At first, there's the clacking sound, a cross between clapping and snapping running through almost the entire song. The electronic clacking sound in the background makes the MV upbeat and lively.

In terms with their Fashion in their MV, some of the outfits are great, but some are not that great. The urban style outfits makes the MV kind a weird, but it's just fine because it complements to the song. While, in other part their outfits make them more attractive, sexy and handsome.



About the settings of the MV, in some point it looks so good and beautiful, but in other part, it's not that good enough. The lights of its background are too distracting, but the maze, it's a fresh concept and what I always thought about maze is getting trap in it.



One of the best part of "Overdose" is their pose in the opening. It is a unique acrobatic move, also probably difficult to maintain balance with that pose. The cool choreography and the cool formation makes the MV more stunning and gorgeous.



Generally, EXO's 'Overdose' is one of the spectacular MV of EXO. Everything looks good and gorgeous. The concept are good, and the song is very fabulous with a cheerful and upbeat with a catchy lyrics, and its unique background and settings, and the fluidity and full conceptualization of the MV is stunning and beautiful.
